Note:
Make sure to route the cables
nside the
lower handle. Also do not crimp the cables vrhile lifting
the handle up.
For shipping purposes, the lower handles _.re placed
on the unit with the hairpin clip on the outer role.
• Remove the hairpin clip from the ouler hole of
the lower handle.
• Using
a pair of pliers,
pinch
Iow,.,r handle
against
the
handle
bracket
and
insert
the
hairpin clip into the inner hole in the weld pin.
Repeat on other side.
• Raise
the
upper handle
from
position
3 to
position
4 as shown in figure 4. Tighten the
wing nuts which are already on the handle.
• Tighten the
cable ties to secure all 1he cables
on the lower handle in place and pre Jent them
from becoming in the way. Refer to fig ire 4.
INSTALLING
THE WHEELS
(FOR MODELS 510 THRU 519 ONLY)
FRONT WHEELS
(Hardware A)
• Lift the front of the unit up and block s_curely.
• Insert front axle bolt through front wh_=el. Place
cupped
washer
on axle
bolt (crov,ned
side
against the wheel). Thread axle bot
into top
hole in the pivot bar, See figure
_;. Tighten
securely.
• Assemble
the other front wheel in the same
manner.
• Remove the block form the front of the unit. Lift
the rear of the unit up and block secur,;ly.

• Assemble
the
rear wheels
as follows.
See
figure 6.
• Move the wheel
height
adjusters
forward
or
back
so the
deck
is in the
lowest
cutting
position.
• Place one large flat washer on the axle bolt,
then the wave washer as shown in figure
6
inset.
• Insert axle bolt through one rear wheel. Place
cupped washer on axle bolt (crowned side of
washer goes against the wheel).
• Thread
axle bolt into rear hole of pivot bar.
Tighten securely.
• Assemble
other
rear
wheel
in
the
same
manner. Remove the block from the rear of the
unit.
ATTACHING THE STARTER
ROPE
The rope guide is already attached to the right side of
the upper handle of your mower. See figure 7.
