using the TV remote control with a
V ¥ VCR, first make certain it is"set to eon-
trol your VCR (by the REMOTE CODE or
SEARCH method).
Set the '1 WVCR/ACC mode switch
to VCR on [:he remote control.
Point the top of the remote toward
the front of the VCR (remote sensor
window) when pressing [:hebuttons.
VCR System Switch
Set in the VCR posit:ion to send remote com-
mands m the VCR.
Record Button
Hold the REC(t_d)iSap and PLAYI_ batons
dmvn to begin a VC, R recording.
Play Button 1_
Press t_3begin playback of a videotape.
Rewind Button
Press t_3rewind rapes. For some VCR's, l:he
SFOP bt_tton may have to be pressed first,
then REWIND. In playback mode, hold
down the button m view"l£hepicture moving
rapidly in reverse.
Stop Button •
Press m stop the mot:ion of a rape in play-
back, rewind, fi_st forward, and so on.
Remember, rbe VCR buttons on rbe remote will
not operate yore"VCR if those features are not
found on your VCR remote control.
NOTE: All VCR f_mclions (par[it[daffy
Search.. Rewind, Fast Forward, etc.) will oper-
ate the _me as wiI:ht:heofiginN VCIt remote
control provided with the VCIL
