remote
locator

codes can be set on which the
TV can :;end out its "homing"
signal.
This is done in case there is more
than
one 7!/(with
a remote
locator)
present,
and you want only one
specific
rentote
to be signaled
when the
TV is tu,'ned ON.*
To set a Locator

With TV turned ON, press
the
LOCA']70R
CODE
button
on the
remote.
(Also
be sure the TV
SYS'_[]E]vI button on the .'remote has
been pressed.)
You will need a pencil
or pen to press
the recessed
button.
The TV shows
the present
Remote
tx)ca _or Code.

Press any
(0-9) on
number
button
the remote
to set or change the Locator
Code.
The remote
will beep to let you know
it has received
the new Locator
Code
and then return to its normal
operating
mode.

Remember.
If batteries
are
_'eplaced the Locator
Code will
need to be reentered.
When setting the Locator Code if any
button, ather than the number buttons,
are pressed the remote will return to its
normal operation mode.
*For owners who live in an apartment
(townhouse or condominium)
complex, this task may be necessary
since the remote Iocator's signal can be
sent and detected direcly through
adjoining walls.
