Do Not Operate in FreezingOutdoor Conditions
This cool-only air conditioner was not designed for
fleezing outdoor conditions. It must not be used in
fleezing outdoor conditions°
Remote Control
To ensure proper operation, aim die remote
control at the signal receiver on the air
conditioner
The remote control signal has a range of
up to 20 feet°
Make sure noflfing is between file ah conditioner
and the remora conuol that could block the
signN.

Cool Mode
Use the Coo/mode at LOw, Med, High or Auto Fan
Speed for cooling. Use the Temperature Increase A /
Decrease T pads to set the desired mmperamre
between 62°F and S6°F in 1 °F increments.
An electronic themlosmt is used to maintain the
room mmperamre. The compressor will wcle on
and off to keep the room at the set level of comfort.
Set the themlostat at a lower nmnber and the indoor
air will become cooler Set the thermostat at a higher
nmnber and the indoor air will become wamler
NOTE." If the air conditioner is off andis then turnedon
while set to a Cool setting or ff turned from a fan setting
to a Cool setting, it may take approximately3 mbutes
for the compressorto start and cooling to begb.
Cooling Descriptions
For Normal Cooling--Select the Cool mode and
High or Medfim with a middle set temperature.
For Maximum Cooling--Select the Cool mode
and High fan with a lower set mmpemmre.
For Quieter and Nighttime Cooling--Select
the
Cool mode and Low fan with a middle set
temperature.
Energy Saver Mode
Controls the tim.
0N---The tim will cycle on and offwith the
compressor This results in wider variations of room
mmpemmre and humidity. Nomm/ly used when the
room is unoccupied.
NOTE: Thefan may continue to run
for a short time after the compressorcyclesoff
OFF--The fan runs all the time, while the
compressor cycles on and ore
Fan Mode
Use file EanMode at Low, Medor Highfan speed to
provide air circulation and filtering wifllout cooling.
Since fire-only settings do not provide cooling, a
Set mmperamre cannot be enmred. The room
mmpemmre will appear in the display.
NOTE: AutoFanSpeed is available b the Fan Mode.
Auto Fan Speed
Set to Auto fhn speed for the fan speed
to
automatically set to the speed needed to provide
optimum comfort settings with the set temperature.
If the room needs more cooling, the fan speed
will automatically increase. If the room needs less
cooling, the fan speed will automatically decrease.
NOTE: AutoFanSpeed is available in the Fan Mode.
Power Outage Recovery Feature
In the case of a power outage or interruption, the
unit will automaficaUy restart in the settings last
used a[_er the power is restored. If the
Delay 1-24hr

need to set a new dine if desired.
