Lift the door straight upand off the
hinges.
The gasket is designedwith a gapat
the bottomto allow for proper air
circulation.
Do not rub or cleanthe doorgasket--it
has an extremelylow resistanceto
abrasion.
If you noticethe gasketbecomingworn,
frayed or damagedin any way or if it
has becomedisplacedon the door,you
shouldhave it replaced.
Lift-Off
Oven Door
Theoven door is removable, but it is heovg.
You mog need help removing and replodng
the door.
To remove the door, open it a few inches
to the special stop position that will hold the
door open. Grasp firmlg on each side and lift
the door straight up and offthe hinges.
NOTE:Be careful not to place hands between
the hinge and the oven door frame since the
hinge could snap back and pinch fingers.
To replace the door, make sure the hinges
are in the special stop position. Positionthe
slots in the bottom of the door squarelg over
the hinges. Then lower the door slowlg and
evenly over both hinges at the same time. If
the hinges snap back against the oven frame,
pull them back out.
To clean the insideof the doon
Do not allow excess water to run into
ang holes or slots in the door.
Because the area inside the gasket is
cleaned during the self clean cgcle, gou do
not need to clean this bg hand. Any soap
left on the liner causes additional stains
when the oven is heated.
The area outside the gasket can be
cleaned with a soap-filled plastic
scouring pad.
To clean the outside of the door:
Use soap and water to thoroughly clean
the top, sides and front of the oven door.
Rinsewell. You mag also use a glass
cleaner to clean the glass on the outside
of the door.
Spillage of marinades, fruit juices, tomato
sauces and basting materials containing
acids mag cause discoloration and should
be wiped up immediately. When the
surface is cool, clean and rinse.
Do not use oven cleaners,cleansing
powders or harsh abrasives on the
outside of the door.

Do not use a steel wool pad; it will scratch
the surface.

BRIGHTENER BEFORE USING.This will help
gou to maintain the brightness and
appearance of gour stainless steel range.
In order to avoid ang discolorations and/or
grease stains, we recommend cleaning
and removing ang spills,spots and grease
from the range offer use.
It is important to use a soft cloth or paper
towel every time the range is cleaned to
ovoid ang scratches.
Readcarefully the instructions on the back
of the Brightener for better results.
Cleaning Instructions:
1. Removegrates.
2. Wash using warm, soapg water:
Wet soft cloth or paper towel (avoid using
excessivewater).
Wipe the surface in the direction of the
grain (following the steel lines).
Rinseand wring out a soft cloth or paper
towel and drg the range.
3. Applg a degreaser that does not contain
sodium hgdroxide or StainlessSteel
Cleaner (follow instructions).
4. Applg Cerama Brgte®StainlessSteel
Brightener (follow instructions).
5. Repeat steps 2-4 as mang times
as needed.
6. Put grates back in place.
Follow these instructions for ang Stainless
Steel surface on gour range.
DO NOT USEfor Cooktop or Stainless Steel
parts cleaning:
• Caustic Ige (sodium hgdroxide)or cleaners
containing this chemical
• Hard or steel wool pads
• Abrasive materials or chemicals
