Notes.
[1] The Peripheral Qualifier field and Peripheral Device Type field value of 00h indicates a direct-access
device (magnetic disc) is connected to this logical unit.
[2] Page C2h provides all the jumper settings for the drive. The bits in byte 4 indicate which jumpers are on.
[3] The Page Length field specifies the length of the Jumper Setting page. If the allocation length is too small
to transfer all of the page, the page length shall not be adjusted to reflect the truncation.
[4] The Delayed Motor Start (DS) bit when set to 1 indicates that this jumper is on.
[5] The Motor Start (MS) bit when set to 1 indicates that the jumper is on.
[6] The Write Protect (WP) bit when set to 1 indicates that the write protect jumper is on.
[7] On some drives, Parity Enable (PE) bit when set to 1 indicates that SCSI parity error checking jumper is
on. Other drives have a PD (Parity Disable) jumper, where Parity is enabled when the jumper is off. See
individual drive's Product Manual, Volume 1, or Installation Guide for information on how the drive of inter-
est is set up.
