The display confirms that the number has been dialed when it
shows "Connecting...". To use Two-Touch Dialing (10–99),
press the first digit, then press and hold the second digit.
Using Abbreviated Dialing
Abbreviated Dialing is similar to speed dialing. You can use
either of the following abbreviated dialing features.
Contacts Match to retrieve any desired number saved in your
Contacts by entering only the last three to six digits of the
number. (See "To activate Contacts Match feature" on
page 48.)
Prepend to prepend the first five- or six-digit prefix you want
to use for abbreviated dialing, so that you can dial a number
by entering only the last four or five digits of the number.
Above features become available when you enable
Abbreviated Dialing feature. (See "To set your prepend
number" on page 48.)
To place a call using abbreviated dialing:
1. Enter the last 3-6 digits of a Contacts entry's phone number
saved in your Contacts.

Enter the last four or five digits of your desired number to
use the prepend feature.

Note: If the Abbrev. Dial list is displayed, select the name or the number you
want to call from the list, and then press
