Installing the LCD TV Basic Connections Step 1. Positioning the TV set Place the LCD TV set on a solid and stable surface. To avoid malfunctions, do not expose the LCD TV to water or a heat source and do not obstruct the ventilation grid at the back of the LCD TV.

Using the LCD TV Basic Operations Turning the Power On/Off Press POWER on the remote control or on the front panel to turn on the LCD TV. The power indicator changes from red to green. When the power is off, the power indicator changes from green to red.
Main Menu There are five main items in the OSD Menu: Picture Sound Tuning System Favorite Calibration Picture Menu Picture settings: Brightness: Adjust to a higher value to make the video brighter. The default setting is Contrast: Adjust to a higher value to create higher contrast. The default setting is 18. Color: Adjust the color intensity.
Sound settings: Volume: Adjusts the volume of the TV. Treble: Adjusts the level of high frequency content in the sound. Bass: Adjusts the level of low frequency content in the sound. Balance: Adjusts the output of the R/L speakers to obtain the best stereo reproduction. AVC(Auto Volume): Automatically adjusts the volume when the TV programs change to commercial advertising, to avoid the sudden Volume increasing from happening.
System Menu System settings: Language: Select to choose between English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese, Czech, Danish, Finish, Dutch, Polish, Russian and Swedish as the language for the OSD menu and any message display. Calibration Menu PC settings (VGA mode only): H-Position: Change the picture’s horizontal position. Value -16~+16 can be selected. The defaulted setting is 0. V-Position: Change the picture’s horizontal position. Value -8~+8 can be selected. The defaulted setting is 0 Phase: Adjust the A/D sample phase Range. Value 0~32 can be selected. The defaulted setting is 16.
TeleText Teletext is an information system broadcast by certain channel which can be consulted like a newspaper. It’s also offers access to subtitles for viewers with hearing problems or who are not familiar with the transmission language. TT on/off Press this button to turn on and off the teletext. The summery appears with a list items that can be accessed.
