WHIRLPOOL ®DISHWASHERWARRANTY
ONE-YEAR FULL WARRANTY
For one year from the date of purchase, when this dishwasher is operated and maintained according to instructions attached to or
furnished with the product, Whirlpool Corporation will pay for FSP®replacement
parts and repair labor to correct defects in materials or
workmanship.
Service must be provided by a Whirlpool designated service company.
SECOND YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY ON POWER CLEAN
TM
SYSTEM
In the second year from the date of purchase, when this dishwasher
is operated and maintained according to instructions
attached to or
furnished with the product, Whirlpool Corporation will pay for FSP® replacement parts for any part of the POWER CLEAN
TM
filter module
washing system (see "Filter Module"), if defective in materials or workmanship.
SECOND THROUGH
FIFTH YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY ON ELECTRONIC
CONTROL SYSTEM
AND NYLON-COATED
DISHRACKS
In the second through fifth years from the date of purchase, when this dishwasher is operated and maintained according to instructions
attached to or furnished with the product, Whirlpool Corporation will pay for FSP ®replacement
parts for the following components
if
defective in materials or workmanship:
the electronic control system, the upper and lower dishracks (for models with nylon-coated
dishracks).
TWENTY-YEAR
FULL WARRANTY ON DURAPERM
TM
TUB AND INNER DOOR
For twenty years from the date of purchase, when this dishwasher is operated and maintained according to instructions
attached to or
furnished with the product, Whirlpool Corporation will pay for FSP®replacement
parts and repair labor for the DURAPERM
TM
tub and/or
inner door should either fail to contain water, if defective in materials or workmanship.
Service must be provided by a Whirlpool
designated service company.
Whirlpool Corporation will not pay for:
1. Service calls to correct the installation of your dishwasher, to instruct you how to use your dishwasher, or to replace house fuses or
correct house wiring or plumbing.
2. Repairs when your dishwasher is used in other than normal, single-family
household use.
3. Damage resulting from accident, alteration, misuse, abuse, fire, flood, acts of God, improper installation, or installation not in
accordance
with local electrical and plumbing codes, or use of products not approved by Whirlpool Corporation.
4. Any labor costs during the limited warranty periods.
5. Replacement
parts or repair labor costs for units operated outside the United States and Canada.
6. Pickup and delivery. This product is designed to be repaired in the home.
7. Repairs to parts or systems resulting from unauthorized modifications
made to the appliance.
8. In Canada, travel or transportation
expenses for customers who reside in remote areas.
WHIRLPOOL CORPORATION
AND WHIRLPOOL
CANADA INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE
FOR INCIDENTAL
OR CONSEQUENTIAL
DAMAGES.
Some states and provinces do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential
damages, so this exclusion or
limitation may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state to
state or province to province.
Outside
the 50 United States and Canada, this warranty
does not apply. Contact
your authorized
Whirlpool
dealer to determine
if another warranty
applies.
