GENERAL CAMERA DESCRIPTION:

With the release of the COOLPIX L11, Nikon offers a quality, compact digital
camera with simple operation.
The latest addition to their COOLPIX line of cameras is a slim, lightweight model
with an impressive imaging performance of 6.0 megapixels and sporting a 2.4-inch
large, bright LCD monitor, it supports smooth composition as well as enjoyable
image playback anywhere. The L11 offers a focus range of 40cm in Camera Mode
or 15cm in Macro Mode, making it possible to accurately capture the detail and
color of both the smallest nature shot and the widest landscape panorama as well
as augmenting the digital camera's versatility underwater.
The COOLPIX L11 has enhanced ISO sensitivity with settings up to ISO 800. This
makes possible the shooting in lower light without having to use a long exposure—
an advantage when shooting underwater.
The L11 Camera offers 3x optical zoom Nikkor-glass lens, which gets you close to
the action, and also features a Video Mode with sound.
Finally, Nikon's unique D-Lighting function, available in playback mode, improves
underexposed images or shots taken with too much back light by creating a copy
of an image with added light and detail wherever necessary, leaving well-exposed
areas untouched.
