be drivenin reversewith the cuttingblades(PTO)

Engaging
the Parking
Brake
Toengagethe parkingbrake:
1, Fullydepressthe brakepedaland holdit downwith
yourfoot wMe gently pushingthe parkingbrakebutton
inward,
2, Holdthe parkingbrakebutton in while removing your
foot fromthe brakepedal,
3, Onceengaged,theparkingbrakebuttonand the brake
pedalwill lock in the "down"position,
Todisengagethe parkingbrake:
1, Slightlydepressthe brakepedal
NOTE:The parkingbrakemustbe engagedif the operator
leavesthe seatwith the engine runningor the enginewill
automatically shut off,
Setting
the Cutting
Height
Selectthe heightpositionof the cuttingdeck byplacing
the deck lift leverin anyof the six differentcuttingheight
notcheson the rightsideof the fender,
Adjustthe deck wheelsso that theyare between_A=inch
and _/zqnch a bovethe groundasfollows:
1, Placethetractoron a firm and levelsurface,preferably
pavement,
2, Placethetractor'sdeck lift handlein the normally
desiredmowingheightsetting,thencheckthe gauge
wheelsfor contactor excessiveclearancewith the
surfacebelow,
