Saving
your new
preferences
You can save your PICTURE quality adjustments (contrast,
brighmess, color, tint, and sharpness) in the PICTURE menu
PREFERENCE MODE.
To save your new preferences:
1. Press MENU, and then press • or • until the PICTURE menu
appears.
2. Press • or • to highlight SAVE NEW PREFERENCE.
3. Press • or •. When complete, the menu displays "DONE."

You can dloose your saved preferences by selecting PREFERENCE (see
"Selecting the picture mode" on page 46).
Using the ALS (Automatic Light Sensor} feature
ALS senses the room ambient light and automatically adjusts the
picture contrast for varying light conditions. ALS is energized when
the ALS menu is set to ON.
To activate the ALS:
1. Press MENU, and then press • or • until the PICTURE menu
appears.
2. Press • or • to highlight ALS.
3. Press • or • to highlight ON.

To deactivate the ALS:
Highlight OFF in step 3 above.
Using the flesh tone feature
This feature automatically adjusts the tint to display more natural
flesh tones.
To turn on the flesh tone feature:
1. Press MENU, and then press • or • until the PICTURE menu
appears.
2. Press • or • to highlight FLESH TONE.
3. Press • or • to tiighlight ON.
