each Disc Memo
You can locate a disc you want to play within
a specific
group quickly by scanning
the Disc Memo in the
display
and start Group
Play.
Note that you cannot use this function
in the ALL
DISCS Shuffle and Program
Play mode.

Press one of GROUP 1 - 10 to select the group.
The group name appears
in the display.
Press MEMO SCAN repeatedly
until "MEMO
SCAN" appears
in the display.
The Disc Memos of the discs in the selected
group
scroll in the display.
Press ENTER or 12> when the Disc Memo of the
disc you want appears.
Group
Play starts from the selected disc.
"_'_" Y ou can jump to the next or preceding Disc Memo
while scanning
Press 0<I<3 o r Di:_.
Locating a group by scanning each group
name (Group Scan)
You can locate a group you want to play quickly by
scanning
the group names in the display
and start
Group Play.
Note that you cannot use this function
in the ALL
DISCS Shuffle and Program
Play mode.

Before you start playing,
press MEMO SCAN
repeatedly
until "GROUP
SCAN" appears
in the
display.
The group names scroll in the display.

Press ENTER or [2> when the group name you
want appears.
Group Play starts.
"_° You can jump to the next or preceding group while
scanning
Press _
or [;:q_.
Deleting
discs from a group

Press CONTINUE
and then UNLOAD.

Turn the JOG dial to select the disc which you
want to delete from a group.
Press GROUP ENTRY.
"GROUP ENTRY" appears
in the display,
and the
navigation
display
asks you to select one of the
groups.

Press one of GROUP 1 - 10 to select a group.
The group name appears
for a while, then
"GROUP
FILE" appears,
and the group number
indication
lights up in the display.
While "GROUP
FILE" is lit in the display,
press
ERASE.
"FILE ERASE" appears,
and the group number
indication
disappears
from the display.
"_° You can delete the currently playing disc from a
group
While playing the disc, follow Steps 3 to 5 above.
