When the b attery has fully discharged, the battery icon will turn
red a nd t he "Low B attery" message will appear.
•Avoid exposing batteries or r nemory cards tovery cold or v ery
hot temperatures (below 0°O/32 °F or above 40 ':'O/104 °F),
Extreme temperatures can r educe the charging capacity ot y our
batteries and c an c ause mernory cards to rnalfunction,
•When you u se t he c amera for a n extended pedod, the a rea
around the b attery chamber may become warm. This does not
affect the normal use o f t he c amera,
• Do not pull the p ower supply cord todisconnect the p lug from
the power outlet, as this m ay cause afire o r electric shock,
• In temperatures below 0°C/32 <:'F, battery capacity and b attery
life m ay decrease,
• Battery capacity may decrease in low temperatures but will
return tonormal in milder temperatures.
Protect batteries, chargers, and memory cards from
damage
Prevent batteries frorn rnaking contact with m etal objects, as this
carl create aconnection between the + andterminals ot y our
battery and l ead to ternporary or p ermanent battery damage and
may cause afire o r e lectric shock.
If t he indicator light is off, make sure that the b attery isinserted
correctly,
If t he camera is on while battery is chargir/g, the b attery may not
fully charge, Turn off the camera before charging the b attery.
Do not use y our camera when you c harge the b attery. Tiffs may

Let the battery charge for a t l east 10 minutes before turning on

the battery is depleted, using sorne high energy consuming

normally, recharge the battery.
