Tele Macro
Using the Tele Macro function, you can get close up images which are created by focusing on
a small portion of a large object at a wide angle. It is useful to get close up images of flowers or
insects etc.

Selectthe record (4_/_) mode by pressingthe MODE button, _page 27
1. Touch the Menu (_) tab _ "Tele Macro" _ then the desired
submenu item.
2. To exit the menu, touch the Return (_) tab.
• Off: Disables the function.
• On (4_): You call focus on a small portion of a large object at a wide
angle.
• When recording in Tele Macro mode, the focus speed may be lowered.
• Use a tnpod (net supplied) to prevent hand shake in the Tele Macro mode.
• Avoid shadows when recording in the Tele Macro mode.
• As the distance to the subject decreases, the focusing area narrows.
• When you carl net get proper focus, use the Zoom (W/T) button or Zoom (W/T) lever to adjust the
focus.
• For best results, use the Tele Macro function between. 4 inches (lcm) and 19.5 inches (50cm) from
your subject.
