Using
How to Use Your TV's Menu System
You use the buttons on tile remow or tile front of your TV to access tile menu system and
make changes to tile settings.

Menus
The first menu is called tile Matin menu. Press MENU on the remote or on tile
tront panel to bring up tile Main menu. Note that holding MEN[ tor 2 seconds
displays tile GLIDE Plus+ system.
Menus take you to another nlenu or a control panel. There are two ways to
select a choice in a 111enu:
l_se your arrow buttons
on your remote control to highlight your choice,
and press OK.

ever unsure where you are in the menu system,
or you're just plain tired of exploring,
press
CLEAR to remove the menus from the screen
and start over again,
Press a nmnber button on tile renlote. For exanlple, in tile Matin lllenu press
3 to go straight to tile Scree** menu.
Exiting a menu

are
three
ways
to
exit
a menu:
Highlight iDc_ and press OK.

Press 0 on tile remote.

Press CLEAR. "File on-screen
displays are cleared from tile screen and you
return to TV viewing.
I Audio
Audio Menu
Mute
Press OK to reduce tile TV's volume to ils minimunl level. Press OK
again to reslore tile volunle.
Tone Controls
Displays tile slider controls tk/r adjusting tile TV's treble, bass
and balance.
Audio
Processor
Displays at choice list of available atudio modes, which
control file way tile sound comes through your speakers.
You can also access
tile A bl)IO t'ROCESSOR menu by pressing the SO LND button on tile remote.
Mono
Plays tile sound in mono only. l_se this setting when receiving
broadcasts
with weal,: stere<) signals.
Stereo
Splits tile incoming stereo atudio signal into left and right channels.
Most TV programs
and recorded
materials have swreo audio. The word
STtJ_EO appears on tile TV when you rune to a program
thai is broadcast
in stereo.
