Shift Lever
The shiftleveris locatedon the rightside
of the handlepanel.Placethe shift lever
intoany of eightpositionsto controlthe
directionof traveland groundspeed.
Forward
Yoursnowthrowerhas six forward(F)
speeds,with positionnumberone (1)
beingthe slowestspeed.
Reverse
Yoursnowthrowerhastwo reverse(R)
speeds,with positionnumberone (1)
beingthe slowerspeed.

Choke Control

Thechokecontrol is foundon the rear of the engineand
is activatedby rotatingthe knobclockwise.Activatingthe
chokecontrolclosesthe chokeplateon thecarburetor
and aids in startingthe engine.
Throttle
Control
Thethrottlecontrolis locatedon the engine.
It regulatesthe speedof theengineand
will shutoff the enginewhenpusheddown
completely.
Primer
Depressingthe primerforcesfuel directly
intothe engine'scarburetorto aid in cold-
weatherstarting.
Oil Fill
Engineoil levelcan be checkedand oil
addedthroughthe oil fill.
