After changing
the backing
pads, make sure they are fully .

backing pads can come off and
be violently thrown.

the sanding
discs, check to make sure
they are centered on the
backing
pads and firmly
pressed
into place. Loose or
off center sanding discs can
cause the sander to vibrate
leading to possible injury to the
operator or damage to the tool.

loose clothing.

awkward hand positions where a
sudden slip could cause your
hand to move into the sanding
