Using the WISELINK Function
This function enables you to view and listen to photo (BASELINE, JPEG) and audio files (MP3} saved on a USB
Mass Storage Class device.

Insert a USB device containing JPEG and/or
MP3 files into the WISELINK jack (USB jack)
on the side of the TV.
_-- WISELINK only supports USB Mass Storage Class devices (MSC). MSC is a
Mass Storage Class Bulk-Only Transport device. Examples of MSC are Thumb
drives and Flash Card Readers. It does not support USB HDD and HUB.
_-- This product supports USB devices that have only 512byte data block size.
_,_ Do not apply excessive force when you insert/eject the memory card or USB
device.
_,_ Do not place the memory card or USB device near a strong electro-magnetic
device.
_-- Do not allow metal substances to come in contact with the terminals on the
memory card.
Do not bend, drop or apply strong shock to memory cards or USB devices.
_-- Only alphanumeric characters must be used as a folder name or filename
(photo, music). The filename with non-alphanumeric characters is displayed with
,,???,,.
_-- If a filename is too long, the filename is represented as follows: "filename...+.jpg"
or "filename...+.mp3".
_-- The file system supports FAT16/32, not NTFS.
_-- Certain types of UBB Digital camera and audio devices may not be compatible
with this TV.
_-- Before inserting your memory card or USB device into the TV, please back up
your files. SAMSUNG is not responsible for any data file damage or data toss.
_,_ The data files in memory cards might be erased due to electrostatic discharge
(EST), loose contact, or dust.
_,_ Some memory devices may not be recognized when the TV is turned on and
switched to WISEUNK Mode. If this occurs, remove and reinstall the memory
device in question.
_,_ Directly connect the USB device to the USB jack on your TV. Compatibility
problems may occur when using a USB hub.
_-- We recommended using the sequential JPEG format. If the progressive JPEG
mode is used, decoding may fail due to use of much memory.
_-- When the loading ( ) icon is displayed, do not remove the USB device.
_,_ PTP (Picture Transfer Protocol) or MTP (Media Transfer Protocol) is not
supported on this TV.
_-- USB devices that require their own driver CDs may not be recognized. (When
the USB device is connected to the PC, Windows searches the eligible driver for
the device. But the USB device is not the bulk-only device so you cannot use it
on the PC.)
