lines appear
on-screen
at any one
time. To see additional
program
lines, press the ADJUST
buttons
to scroll the lines on the screen.

When you are finished
with all programming,
turn the VCR
power OFF and make sure the programmed
recording
light is
lit. However,
if you have a cable box, leaw_ it turned
ON and
tuned to the station
you wish to record. Additionally,
if you
are using
an A/B ,;witch, remember
to set the switch
to. the
correct position.
canceling a recording in progress
There
are two ways
to cancel
a recording
in p:cogress.
1. Press the PLAY/STOP
butson.
The record:rag is stopped,
but
the program
is not cancelled.
Therefore,
if you press REC, the
recording
will start
again.
2. Press the POWER
button
on the front panel.
The recording
is
stopped
and the program
is cancelled.
changing settingswhileprogramming
If you wish to change
one of your settings
(su:h as start
time)
while you are programming,
press the ENTER
and CANCEL
on
the remote
to select the setting
you wish to change.
ENTER
will
move you forward
through
the list, while CANCEL
will move you
backwards.
Then, use the ADJUST
button.,; to change
the setting.
If you press the CANCEL
button
while the channel
number
is
flashing,
you will cancel the _ntire program.
Using One-Touch Recording(OTR)
One-Touch
Recording
(also called OTR) is a way to begin record-
ing immediately,
but have your VCR stop recording
and turn off
automatically
after your show is over.
Before you begin, you need to know how:
• to view the picture
coming from your VCR. (See page 20.)

Load a tape with its erasure
tab intact into the VCR.
If you have not already
done so, set the speed at which you
would like to record. (See "Selecting
and adjusting
the audio
and video functions"
on page 30.)
Set the VCR's input
to tuner. To do this, press the INPUT
button
on the remote
until the channel
number
shows on--
screen or on the fi'ont panel display.
Use the CHANNEL
buttons
on the remoLe control
or on the
front panel to select the channel
you would like to record.
