Selecting the Dialing Mode
You can programthe dialing mode using the handset near the base unit.
If you have touch tone service, set to "Tone". If rotary or pulse service is
used, set to "Pulse". Your phone comes from the factory set to "Tone".
The TALK and DIGITAL SP-PHONE indicator lights must be off before
programming.
Press _ROGRAM].
• The TALK indicator flashes.
Press SEARCH _ (Next key) repeatedly
until
"Set dial mode ?" is
displayed.
Press SEARCH [] (Yes key).

To select "Pulse", press SEARCH [].

• A long beep sounds.
• The handset willreturn to the stand-by
mode.

• To cancel during programming, press _ or PIP'R-OGRAM]. Start again
from step 1.
• If 3 beeps sound and the display shows "Saree.error", move closerto
the base unitand try again. If "Save error" is stilldisplayed, place the
handset on the base unit. Start again from step 1.
If a power failure occurs the mode will return tothe rectorypre_t (T0,_ii
Reprogram if necessary,
