Renaming
the
inputs
This feature
allows you to renarne
the inputs
so that you can keep
track of components
you have connected
to your TV. For example,
you might name one input
"VCR," and another
one "DISC"
After
renaming,
the new name will appear
on the screen display.
(The
original
names
are "Input-l,"
"Input-2,"
and "Input-3.")

You will see the "Customize
View!ing" screen.
Use the
ADJUST

"Rename
the input."

select the input you want to
rename
(Input-l,

or
Input-3).
Press ENTER.
Use the ADJUST
buttons
and
the ENTER
button
to select
each letter
in the new name.
You can rename
the inputs
using letters
(A - Z), numbers
(0 -9),
or symbol,_ (:/.,
( ) ! "

If you press
the CANCEL
button
while
setting
the name,
the cursor
will move
one posi-
tion
to the left. You can clear
the entire
name
by pressing
CANCEL
when
the cursor
is at
the left-most
position.
When you are finished, press
the MF,NU buttola; the screen
will return
to the "Customize
