HOW TO RESTRICT ACCESS OF UP TO TWO CHANNELS
(CHANNEL LOCK)
The CHANNEL
LOCK
feature
allows
up to two
channels
to be locked
with
access
only
via a 4 digit
code.
The CHANNEL
LOCK feature
is primarily
designed
to allow
parents
to prevent
the unauthorized
viewing
of certain
channels
by children.
Once locked,
even
unplugging
and replugging
the set will not
restore
access
without
the
proper
code.
SETTING THE CHANNEL
LOCK
Locate
the LOCK,
SET and POSITION
buttons
on the control
panel.
]-he on-screen
displays
illustrated
below
remain
on-screen
for
10 seconds.
It is therefore
suggested
that you read through
this section
first,
prior
to using
CHANNEL
LOCK for the
first
time.
If the
on-screen
display
disappears
in
the
middle
o! programming,
the
information
programmed
up to that
point
is canceled.
If this
occurs,
repeat
the
procedure

step
1.
In this
example
the
code
number
"1
2 3 4"
is used
to
LOCK
channels
"10"
and
"25".

in red and the first
POSITION

to set the first digit of the
code.
Press
the
POSITION
button
to
move
to
the
second
digit.
Set the second,
the third,
and the fourth
digit
by
using
the
SET
and
POSITION
buttons.
Press
the
POSITION
button,
the display
for
the
first
channel
to be locked
flashes.
