Installing the Dell TouchCam Software (Microsoft
The Dell SX2210T webcam application media that shipped with your monitor, allows you to install the software and drivers for the integrated webcam.
To install the Dell TouchCam Software:
1.
Insert the Dell "Drivers and Documentation" CD into the drive.
NOTE: Ensure that the USB cable is connected between the monitor and the computer.
2.
Choose "TouchCam Software".
3.
The Install Shield Wizard automatically launches the setup application. Click Next to continue.
4.
Read Software License Agreement and click Yes to continue. Click Next to continue.
5.
Click Next to continue.
6.
Click Finish to complete installation.
NOTE: All instant messaging softwares have to close before the installation can begin.
You are now ready to use the Webcam.
Using the TouchCam Software
Stand-alone mode
Stand-alone mode can be launched from the start menu.
IM mode
IM mode will launch itself automatically when an instant messaging program begins a video call session.
