1. Decide where t heductwork will r unbetween thehood
andtheoutside.

ofthehood. Use asfewofthem as
possible. Larger ducting m ay berequired forbest
performance
withlonger ductruns.
4. Install a roof o rwall c ap. C onnect round m etat
ductwork tocapandwork back towards hood
location. Use duct t ape tosea! t hejoints between
ductwork sections.
1. Construct wood wal! f raming t hatisflush withinterior
surface o fwal! s tuds.
Make sure:
a) theframing i scentered overinstallation
Iocation.
b) theheight oftheframing willallow themounting
bracket tobesecured totheframing within t he
dimensions shown.

After wall surface is finished, secure mounting
bracket to framing using dimensions shown.

Hang the hood from the bracket through the
rectangular
cut-out on the back of the hood. Cut=out
is larger than the bracket to allow for horizontal
adjustment.
The bottom of the hood should be 24" to 30" above
the cooking surface.
Attach hood height / angle adjustment
screws to
hood bracket. Use these screws to level the hood.
Secure the hood with mounting
screws.
Use drywall
anchors, provided, if wal! studs or framing are not
available.
