138 Service and maintenance
Service operations
Wheel attachment: check, correct.
Tyre condition and pressures (including spare): check, correct
Tyre repair kit (if fitted), lashing eyes: visual check
Engine, transmission and clutch system: inspect for leaks
Front/rear suspension, steering, all sealing bellows: check
Brake lines, fuel lines and exhaust system: visual check
Lighting, signalling, monitoring equipment and airbags: visual check
Anti-corrosion protection: check and record damage in Service and Warranty Booklet
Door hinges, stops, locks, bonnet catch and tailgate/rear door hinges: lubricate
Test drive, including brake efficiency and instrument check, final inspection.
Stamp Service and Warranty Booklet. Service display: reset - if fitted
Additional operations +
Diesel fuel filter: replace
Air cleaner element: replace - petrol engines
- diesel engines
Accessory belt and tension roller: replace - only G9U, F4R
