imtallation. These include:
a. Adjusting thermostat
b. Lightingpilot
c. Leaksin pipes or fittings
d. Improper venting
e. Condensation

1.Thegasis turned "OFF".

FULL ONE YEARWARRANTY ON WATER HEATER
Forone year from the date of purchase, when your Sears Kenmore water heater is installed and operated in a single-family
residencein accordancewith the instructions in this manual, Searswill:
1. Repair defects in material or workmanship in this waterheater, free of chaxge.
2. Furnish and install a new current model water heater of equal capacity and quality, free of charge, ifa leak occursin the
tank.
LIMITED WARRANTY ON TANKS THAT LEAK
After one year and through 5 years from the date of purchase for water heaters used in a single-family residence, ifa leak
occurs in the tank, Sears will furnish a new current model water heater of equal capacity and quality. You will be charged
for any installation.
If the water heater is subjected to commercial, institutional, industrial or use in residences of two families or more, the
above warranty coverage for tanks that leak is effective for 2 years from the date of purchase.

product is in use in the United States."

Sears Installation Policy
Allinstallation labor arranged by Searsshall be performed in a neat,work-
manlike manner in accordancewith generally accepted trade practices.
Further, all installationsshall comply with all local laws,codes regulations
and ordinances. T he customer shall also be protected, during installation,
by insurance relating to property damage, Worker's Compensation and
PublicLiability.
