System Configuration
Toset the delaytimes,follow these steps:
1. Put the AVR110 in the DotbyProLogic
modeby pressingthe Surround Mode
Selector [] on the front panelor by
pressingthe Surround Mode Selector
on the remote,until PRO
LOGIC
appears in the Main Information Display
[] andthe PROLOGICindicator[]
lightsup.
2. Press the Delay button _)kt_ on
the remote or front panel.Thewords
S DE L AY T I ME will appearin the
Main Information Display [].
3. Press the Set button _I1.
4. Adjustthe delaytime bypressingthe
&IT buttonsli_l_l on the remote or the
Selector buttons[] on the front panel
until the delay time figure calculatedusing
the formula enteredaboveappearsin the
display.
5. if only analogsources wilt be used,no
adjustmentis neededfor the center-channel
delay.In that case,pressthe Set button
_)F31"l to enterthe surrounddelay settings
into the AVR110'smemory.Howevel, i f you
will be using digital sources and the calcu-
lationsoutlined aboveindicatethat the
centei-ehannet d elayrequiresan adjust-
ment,continuewith the following steps.
6. Beforesettingthe center-channel d elay
time, makecertain that a digital sourcehas
beenselected.If a digital sourceis playing,
COAXIAL [] or OPTICAL[] wilt appear
inthe Information Display P:_'d. If a digi-
tal sourceis alreadyconnectedand play-
ing, pressthe Delay button []_ and
then the &IT buttonson the remote
I_I_I or the front panelSelector
buttons[] until the words C D EL AY
TIME appearin the Main Information
Display [] and proceedto Step10. If a
digital sourceis not playing,follow Steps7
through 10.
7. Pressthe Set button I_1_1.
8. Select t he DolbyDigitalmodeeitherby
pressing the flont panelSurroundMode
Selector[] or by pressing the Surround
Mode Selector _) oil the remoteoil the
remoteuntil DOLBY DIG appearsin the
Main Information Display[].
9. Pressthe Delay button _)[] on
the remoteor front panel.Thewords
S DELAY TIME appearin the
Main Information Display[].
10. Press the •/T buttons!_)I_I on the
remoteonce,sothat C DE LAY TIME
appeasin the Main Information Display
[] or in the on-screen display.
11. Pressthe Set button I_1.
12. Pressthe •IT buttons_11]_ on the
remoteor the Selector buttons[] on
the front panel until the desireddelay
time for the centerchannelappearsin the
display.
13. Pressthe Set button I[_1 to enterthe
setting into the AVR11O'smemoly.
Youhavenow completedthe setup,adjustment
andcalibrationof the AVR110.Youare now
readyto enjoy the finest in musicand home-
theater listening.
