Remote Control Functions

Direct Button: Press this button when
the tuner is in useto start the sequence for
direct entryof a station'sfrequency. A fter press-
ing the button simplypressthe proper

I_) TuningUp/Down:Whenthe tuner is in
use,thesebuttonswilt tune up or down through
the selected frequency band,If the Tuner Mode
button ti_)ilEI hasbeenpressedsothat the
AUTOindicator[] is illuminated, p ressingand
holdingeither of the buttonsfor threeseconds
wilt causethe tunerto seekthe next stationwith
acceptable signalstrengthfor quality reception.
Whenthe AUTOindicator[] is NOTillumi-
nated,pressingthesebuttonswill tune stations
in single-step increments. (Seepage25 for more

Macro Buttons: Press thesebuttons
to storeor recall a "Macro", which is a
preprogrammed sequence of commands
storedin the remote.(Seepage28 for more
informationon storing andrecallingmacros.)

TransportControls: These buttonsdo
not haveany functionsfor the AVR110, but
they maybe programmedfor the folward/
reverseplayoperationof a wide varietyof CD
or DVDplayers,and audioor video cassette

on programmingthe remote.)
Skip Up/Down Buttons:Thesebuttons
do not havea direct function with the AVR110,
but when usedwith a compatiblyprogrammed
CDor DVDchangerthey will changethe disc
currentlybeing playedin the changec

Disc Skip Buttons:Thesebuttons have
no directfunction for the AVR110, but they are
often usedwhen the remoteis programmedto
operatea CDor DVDchangerto changethe
discsin the changer.(Seepage 30 for more
informationon using the remotewith other
devices.)
Preset Up/Down:When the tuneris
in use,pressthesebuttonsto scrollthrough the
stations programmed into the AVR11O'smem-
ory.Whensomesourcedevices, s uchas CD
players, V CRsand cassette decks,areselected
using the deviceInput Selectors 41_, these
buttons mayfunction as ChapterStepor Track
Advance.

incorrectentries when usingthe remoteto

sound.After pressingthis button, the delay
times are enteredby pressingthe Set button

settingor selection when configuring manyof the
AVR110'ssettings.
Speaker Select: Pressthis button
to beginthe processof configuring the
AVR110's bassmanagementsystemfor the
type of speakersused in your system.Oncethe
button has been pressed,usethe A/v but-

to selectthe channel you wish to
set up. Pressthe Set button _
andthen
select another channel to configure.When all
adjustments havebeencompleted, pressthe

twice to exit the settingsand

when usedwith a compatiblyprogrammed
VCR,DVDor satellite receiverthat hasa
"W/Video" function,pressingthis button wilt
switchbetweenthe output of the playeror
receiverand the externalvideo input to that
playecConsultthe owner'smanualfor your
specificplayeror receiverfor the detailsof how
it implementsthis function.
I_ Mute: Pressthis button to momentarily
silencethe AVR110 or TVset beingcontrolled,
dependingon which devicehas beenselected.
Whenthe AVR110remoteis beingprogrammed
to operateanotherdevice, t his button is pressed
with the Input Selector button 41_ to begin
the programmingprocess. ( Seepage 27 for
moreinformationon programming the remote.)
