[] PROTECT
Protect pictures from accidental deletion. The following options are available.
• FRAME
Protect selected pictures.
1 Press the selector left or right to dis-
play the desired picture.
Picture not protected Protected picture

PressMENU/Of(to p rotect the picture.
If the picture is already protected,
pressing MENU/Of( will remove pro-
tection from the image.

Repeat steps 1-2 to protect addi-
tional images. Press DISP/BACI(to exit
when the operation is complete.
• SETALL
Press MENU/Of(to protect all
pictures, or press DISP/BACI(
to exit without changing
picture status.
• RESETALL
PressMENU/Of(toremove pro-
tection from all pictures, or
press DISP/BACK t o exit with-
out changing picture status.
IT MAY TAKE A WHILE
If the number of pictures affected is very large, a
message will be displayed while the operation is
in progress. Press DISP/BACI( to exit before the op-
eration is complete.

Protected pictures will be deleted when the memory
card is formatted (pg. 102).
