Photo Navig.ation
To show the direction
and distance
from your present
position
to the
location
where
a picture was taken:
1 Select an option other than OFF for LOCATION SEARCH and confirm that
the camera is receiving GPS data (_
53).
2 Display a picture with a GPB icon.
3 Select PHOTO NAVIGATION
(_
53) in the []
menu.
The approximate
direction and distance to the location
where the picture was taken are displayed as shown, us-
ing the units selected for kin/mile
(_
53). Distances over
1000 units are indicated by">", those under 100 units by
,<,.
Photo navigation ends when tile next picture is displayed.
A _"
icon indicates that tile camera's internal
sensor requires
_::_
calibration.
Move the camera slowly in a large figure eight while
rotating your wrist as shown on page 35. If the icon does not clear
from the display, choose a different
location and try again.
