What is the automatic flush cycle?
TrueSTEAM automatically flushes out the water tank
during the humidifying
season. In the automatic
flush cycle, cold water enters the tank while water
is being emptied through the drain line. The action
of simultaneous filling and draining cools the water
to a safe draining temperature,
it also dilutes water
hardness concentration
to reduce mineral deposits
from forming in the tank.
At the end of the automatic flush cycle, TrueSTEAM
refills the tank with fresh water, and automatically
returns to normal operation.
