Standbymode,as indicatedby the amberLED

Control []. Thisbutton MUST be pressedin
to operatethe unit Toturn the unit off and pre-
vent the useof the remotecontrol,this switch
shouldbe presseduntil it popsout from the
front panelsothat the word "OFF" may be
readat the top of the switch
NOTE: I n normaloperationthis switch is left in
the "ON" position
[] System Power Control: Whenthe
Main Power Switch [] is "ON," pressthis
button to turn on the HK 3370: pressit again
to turn the unit off Note that the Power
Indicator surroundingthe switch[] will
turn greenwhen the unit is on
[] Power Indicator: This LEDwill illumi-
nate in amberwhen the unit is in the Standby
modeto signal that the unit is readyto be
turned on,When the unit is in operation,the
indicatorwill brieflyturn red, andthen change
to green A red indicatorduring normalopera-
tion meansthat the unit is in the Protectmode,
and shouldbe turned off andthen checkedfor
a possiblespeaker-wire short circuit
[] Headphone Jack: This jack maybe
usedto listento the HK 3370'soutputthrougha
pairof headphones. Becertainthat the head-
phoneshavea standard1/4" stereophoneplug
[] Mute: Pressthis button to momentarily
silencethe speakeroutput of the HK3370,
[] Speaker 1 Button: Pressthis button to
turn the speakers connectedto the Speaker 1
output terminals_i on or off
[] Speaker 2 Button: Pressthis buttonto
turn the speakers connectedto the Speaker 2
output terminals_) on or off
