Replacing the light bulbs.
Turning the control to the 0 (off) position does not remove power to the light circuit.
Refrigerator Lights
Jk CAUTION:
Light bulbs may
be hot.
O Unplug the refrigeratoE
O To remove the light shield, grasp the
shield at the back and pull out to release
the tabs at the back.
Rotate the shield down and then forward
to releasethe tabs at the front of the
shield.
After replacing with an appliance bulb
of the same or lower wattage, replace
the shield.
Plug the refrigerator back in.
NOTE: Appliance bulbs mag be ordered from
GE Parts and Accessories, 800.626.2002.

Freezer Light

Unplug the refrigerator.
The bulb is located at the top of the
freezer inside a light shield. To remove the
shield,grasp the shield at the back and
pull out to releasethe tabs at the back.
Rotate the shield down and then forward
to releasethe tabs at the front of the
shield.
After replacing with an appliance bulb
of the same or lower wattage, replace
the shield.
Plug the refrigerator back in.
Middle Lights

Lights are
behind crisper
drawers 0

Unplug the refrigerator.
The bulbs are located behind the crisper
drawers. To remove the drawers, lift up
slightlg while pulling the drawer past the
stop location.
Replacethe bulbs with appliance bulbs
of the same or lower wattage.
Replace crisper drawers bg sliding them
gentlg back onto the tracks while lifting
up slightlg.
Plug the refrigerator back in.
