Wait 24 hours for temperature to stabilize.
Test the temperature in each compartment. If the
temperature in either compartment is not
acceptable, adjust the controls using the chart
below.
Always allow 24 hours for temperature to stabilize
whether you are setting the controls for the first
time or readjusting them.
How to Test Temperatures
To test the fresh food compartment, place a
beverage on the top shelf. After 24 hours, taste the
ddnk. If the temperature is not satisfactory, adjust
the controls accordingly.
To test the freezer compartment, place a
container of ice cream in the center of the freezer.
After 24 hours, if the ice cream is not the firmness
you prefer, adjust the controls accordingly.
Turning the freezer control to (_ shuts off cooling
to both the fresh food and freezer compartments.

• The freezer setting determines the compressor and freezer fan "run times"
• The fresh food setting controls a damper between the two compartments which regulates
the amount of cold air that flows into the fresh food compartmenL

compartment.
