Porcelain EnamelCooktop(on some models)
Tile porcelain
enamel
finish is sturdy
but breakable
if misused.
This finish is
aci&resistant.
However;
any acidic foods
spilled
(such as fl'uitj uices, tomato
or
vinegar)
should
not be pemfitted
to remain
on the finish.
If acids spill on tile cooktop
while it is hot,
use a d1T paper
towel or cloth to wipe it up

wash with soap and watei: Rinse well.
For other
spills such as tilt spatterings,
wash
with soap and water or cleansing

has cooled.
Rinse well.

and gently lower the cooktop
until it rests

NOTE: Do not hft the cooktop on radiant top models.
Lifting the cooktop can lead to damage and improper
operation of the range.

surface units are cool before attempting to remove
them.
To clean tile surlilce
units, turn tile control
to the highest setting tot a minute.

To remove tile drip pans for cleaning, tile

into tile receptacle.
Guide
the smtilce
unit into place so it rests

Donot/?nmerse the surfaceunits in
liquids of any kind
Donot dean the surface units in a
dishwasher
Donot bend the surface unit plug
terminals.
Donot attempt to dean, adjust or in any
way repair the plug-in receptacle.
Drip Pans (on some models)
Remove
tile smthce
units. Then
lift out tile
drip pans.
Place them in a covered
containei:
Add
1/4 cup ammonia
and let soak several
hom_ or overnight.
Wash, rinse well

Tile drip pans may also be cleaned
in tile
dishwasheI:
Clean tile area under
tile drip pans often.
Btfilt-up soil, espedally
grease, may catch fire.
Do not cover the drip pans with foil. Using foil so
close to the receptacle could cause shock, fke or
damage to the range.
NOTE: Do not clean the drip pans in a
self-cleaning oven.
