1 Power jack: The is where you connect the ac power adapter.
2 Indicator button: When you press this button, the status indicator shows the ThinkPad Battery 19+
charge status.
3 Status indicator: It shows the ThinkPad Battery 19+ charge status.
4 Eject lever: When the eject lever is released, you can detach the ThinkPad Battery 19+ from the computer.
5 Battery latch: When the battery latch is locked, the eject lever cannot be released.
Attaching the ThinkPad Battery 19+
Attention: Before you attach the ThinkPad Battery 19+, disconnect the ac power adapter from your
computer. The ac power connector will be damaged if it remains connected to the computer during the
attachment.
To attach the ThinkPad Battery 19+, do the following:
1. Align the front of the computer with the front of the ThinkPad Battery 19+.
2. Ensure that the guides of the ThinkPad Battery 19+ align with the holes in the computer
secure the computer in place
