[] Rigid or UL-listed flexible metal 4" (10.2 cm) duct
[] Vent hood
[] 1/4" nut drNer (remove temdnal block access
cover and instaU cord) (ELECTRIC DRYER)
[] Pipe thread sealer (GAS DRYER)
[] UIAismd smfin relief (may be supplied
with cord)
[] UIAisted 30A, 240V, 3-wire, #10 AWG minimmn
conductox power cord (existing structure)
[] UIAisted 30A, 240V, 4-wire, #10 AWG
minimmn conductor power cord is required
(new construction)
[] Flexible stainless smel or plastic-coated brass
commecfing robe (if allowed by building code)

PREPARING THE INSTALLATION SITE
AND UNPACKING YOUR DRYER

Prepare die area and exhaust fox inst_dlafion

Check to be suxe that die existing exmxnal
exhaust is clean and fllat it meets attached
installation specifications.
Place die four corner posts flom die shipping
carton on die flooL parallel m each otbex; 2-3"
apart. Carefiflly 1W die dxyer on its left side on
mp of die comer posts. Remove the foam
shipping pad.

4. Remm file dxyer m an upright position.
5. Move die dxyer m die desired location.
6. Connect die exmmal exhaust.
7. Adjust die leveling legs to match the washer
height. The dryer must be level and rest fimlly
on all four leveling legs.
8. Connect the power supply.
9. Check die operation of die power supply and
venting.
10. Place file (_,vner's ManuM and file Installation
Instructions in a location where they Mll be
noticed by file owneL
