• Engine valves out of
adjustment.
• Clutch/brake
pedal not
depressed
• Attachment
clutch is
engaged.
• Weak or dead battery.
• Blown fuse.
• Corroded
battery terminals.
• Loose or damaged
wiring.
• Faulty ignition switch.
• Faulty solenoid or starter.
• Faulty operator presence
switch(es).
• Weak or dead battery.
• Corroded
battery terminals.
• Loose or damaged
wiring.

• Cutting too much grass/too
fast.
• Throttle in =CHOKE"
position.
• Fill fuel tank.

attempting to start.

• Clean/replace
air filter.
• Replace fuel filter.
• Drain fuel tank and carbure
tor, refill tank with fresh
gasoline and replace fuel
filter.
• Check all wiring.

section.
• Contact an authorized
service center/department.
• Clean/replace
air filter.
• Replace
spark plug.
• Recharge or replace battery.
• Replace
fuel filter.
• Drain fuel tank and refill with
fresh gasoline.
• Check all wiring.

• Disengage
attachment

• Recharge
or replace battery.
