ENGINE
AIR CLEANER (See Fig, 18)
LUBRICATION
Service air cleaner cartridge every twenty-five hours, more
often if engine is used in very dust"y conditions..
Use only high quality detergent oil rated with APt service * Loosen air cleaner screws, one on each side of cover_

according to your' expected temperature. - Remove air cleaner cover,

Change the oil after the first two hours of operation and AIR

Check the crankcase oil level before starting the engine
and after each five (5) hours of continuous use. Add SAE
30 motor oil or equivalent. Tighten oil filler' plug securely
each time you check the oil level,.
TO CHANGE ENGINE OIL (See Figs. 16 and 17)
Determine temperature range expected before oil change,.
All oil must meet API service classification SF or SG
• Be sure tiller is on level surface,,
• Oil will drain more freety when warrn_ FIG. 18
• Use a funnel to prevent oil spill on tiller, and catch oil in
a suitable container'. COOLING SYSTEM (See Fig. 19)
• Remove drain plug. Your engine is air cooled. For proper engine performance

• After oil has drained completely, replace oil drain plug • Clean air screen frequently using a stiff-bristled brush,

• Remove blower' housing and clean as necessary,
• Remove oil filler' plug. Be careful not to allow dirt to
enter the engine. • Keep cylinder fins free of dirt and chaff.
• Refill engine with oil. See "CHECK ENGINE OIL
