ENGINE
AIR CLEANER (See Fig, 18)
LUBRICATION
Service air cleaner cartridge every twenty-five hours, more
often if engine is used in very dust"y conditions..
Use only high quality detergent oil rated with APt service

Loosen air cleaner screws, one on each side of cover_

according to your' expected temperature.

COOLING
SYSTEM

Remove drain plug.
Your engine is air cooled. For proper engine performance

and long life keep your engine clean.
After oil has drained completely, replace oil drain plug
Clean air screen frequently using a stiff-bristled brush,
and tighten securely,,
Remove blower' housing and clean as necessary,
Remove oil filler' plug. Be careful not to allow dirt to
enter the engine.
Keep cylinder fins free of dirt and chaff.
Refill engine with oil.
See "CHECK ENGINE OIL
LEVEL" in the Operation section of this manual.
