Location

• Therefrigerator m ustbe installedcn a floor thatislevelandstrong enough

• Consider watersupply availability formodel sequipped withanautomat icice
maker.
Installatgm
• Donot install therefrigerator w herethete_oerature willdropbelow60°F
(15°C) orriseabove II0°F(43 °C). Thecrmpressorwill notbeabletomaintain
p_ te_oeratures.
• Allow space aroundtheunit forgoodair circulation. L eavea i inch (25_m)
spacebehindanda 3 inch (75 _m)spaceabovetherefrigerator f oradequate
• Ina recessed installation, a llowan extraI/2inch (10-15_m) oneachside
fcreaseof installaticn.
• Forbest circulaticn, elevate t heunitiinch(25m) frcrnthe floor, especially
ifthefloor i scarpeted.
Door Opening
Thedoors shouldopento alloweasyaccessto a counterwhenremovingfood.
• Donotposition therefrigerator soyouhavetowalkaroundtherefrigerator
drams.
• Reverse thecbors ifnecessary. See"ReversibleDoorInstructions."
Leveling
Allfourcornersof refrigerator _ st restfirmly cn a solidfloor. Somemodels
areequi_pedwith adjustable screw-type levelers. Othersareequippedwith rollers.
Ifyourrefrigerator didnot crrne withrollers, t hey canbe _ed frcmyour d ealer.
• Toadjustscre_- typelevelers(scmemodels) : Tipcabinet backslightly and
raise adjust i ngholts a sneecL=d.
• Toadjustfront rollers (scmemodels) : Usea screwdriver, 3/8"socket
wrench, ornutdriver t oadjust rollers asshown.
RAISETHEFRC_T of cabinet enoughsodoors willclosefreelywhen opened halfway.
Level cabinet s ide toside.
CleanLng
• Washtheinside, allremovable p artsandtheoutsidewithmilddetergent and
warm water. Wipe dry. DO NOT USE HARSH CLEANERS ON THESE
SURFACES.
• Do notuse razorbladesor othersharpinstruments, whichcanscratchthe
appliancesurface, whenremovingadhesivelabels.Anyglueleftfromthe
tapeor energylabelcanbe removedwith amixtureof warmwater andmild
detergent, o r,touch thegluewiththesticky sideoftapealready removed.
• DO NOT REMOVE THE SERIAL PLATE.
