Power over Ethernet Switch is a resilient,
secure stackable switch with Power over
Ethernet (PoE) capabilities to IEEE P802.3af
compliant devices such as IP phones, wire-
less access points, network cameras, security
and lighting devices, and access control
devices (badge readers) (Figure 1). The
switch has all of the features of the BayStack
Business Policy Switch such as advanced
Quality of Service (QoS) and high-

Ethernet capability. It enables enterprise
customers to power devices while maintain-
ing connectivity to standard 10/100 Mbps

BoSS v3.0 (BayStack operating system
Switching Software) allows the BayStack
460 Switch to stack with other BayStack
switches. BoSS also simplifies software
