Switch Reasons to Set ON
Bus Reset: Bus reset reduces the chances of data
Power Fail corruption and saves the time (30 to
60 secs.) that the host would spend
Bus Reset:
determining that the disk system was
Hot Swap
unavailable. Bus reset signals the host
to resend outstanding I/O requests.
Reasons to Set OFF
Bus control is restricted to the host.
– Bus control is restricted to the host.
– The entire bus is not reset for one
disk.
