The image
stabilizer
is deactivated.
This
is recommended
for shooting
when the camera
is fixed in place on
a tripod or other stable surface.

In sen
mode, the optimum
shooting settings
are pre-programmed
for specific
shooting
scenes. For this reason, settings
may not be
changed in some modes.
The camera's
default settings
are [IMAGE
STABILIZER]
(still images) to [ON] and [DIS
MOVIE MODE] (movies) to [OFF].
There may be a noise coming from inside the
camera when the shutter button is pressed
with [IMAGE
STABILIZER]
(still images) set to
[ON].
Images may not be stabiIized
if camera shake
is too severe.
When the shatter speed is extremely
stow,
such as when taking still shots or taking
pictures at night, the stabilizer
may not be as
effective.
When shooting while the [DIS MOVIE MODE]
(movie) is set to [ON], the image will be
enlarged
somewhat
before saving.

The camera takes
a picture using the
optimum settings for
the scene conditions.

activated. This approximately
doubles the
shooting time, during which no other pictures can be
taken.
