5 Troubleshooting

If the enclosure does not initialize

If the enclosure does not initialize, check the seven-segment display for error codes. At power on, the
enclosure goes through a series of Power On Self Tests (POST). As each test runs, a code is displayed on
the seven-segment display, indicating the current test being run. See
IMPORTANT:
After a power failure or shutdown, the system automatically returns to last powered state (On or Off)
when A/C power is restored.
1.
Ensure that the Power On/Standby button was pressed firmly and held for approximately three
seconds.
2.
Verify that the Power button/LED on the UID module is green.
3.
Verify that the power source is working:
a. Verify that the power supplies are working by viewing the power supply LEDs on the rear panel.
Remove and reinstall if necessary to verify that they are seated properly.
b. Remove and inspect the AC power cords from both power supplies and reconnect them.

Is the front panel fault LED amber?

Answer
No (green)
Yes
Possible reasons
System functioning properly.
