To avoid damaging the projector or lamp, never unplug the power cord when the power light is green or flashing orange. 7. If you won’t be using the projector for awhile, store it in the soft case that came with it or in a protective case.
To correct the distortion or “keystone” shape, do one or more of the following: If your image looks like projector off to one side of the screen, at an angle. Move it directly in front of the center of the screen, facing it squarely.

Epson PowerLite 76c Projector Adjusting the Volume You can use the buttons on the remote control or projector to increase or decrease the volume for both the projector’s built-in speaker and external speakers connected to the projector. Press button to increase the volume, or the decrease it.
Freeze Projector Status Lights If your projector isn’t working correctly, first turn it off, wait for it to cool, and unplug it. Then plug the power cord back in and turn on the projector. If this doesn’t solve the problem, check the lights on top of the projector.
Epson PowerLite 76c Projector Using the Remote Control The remote control uses a line-of-sight infrared signal. It lets you access the projector’s features from anywhere in the room— up to 20 feet away. (This distance may be shorter if the remote control batteries are low.)
Cleaning and Replacing the Air Filter Clean the air filter and air intake and exhaust vent on the bottom of the projector after every 100 hours of use. If they are not cleaned periodically, they can become clogged with dust, preventing proper ventilation.
Epson PowerLite 76c Projector 2. Turn the projector upside-down and clean the air filter and air vent on the base of the projector. Epson recommends using a small vacuum cleaner designed for computers and other office equipment. If you don’t have one, gently clean them using a very soft brush (such as an artist’s brush).
8. Lower the lamp cover into place. (The opening should be almost covered, and the top of the cover should be flush with the top of the projector.) Then slide the cover closed and tighten the screw. 9. Reset the lamp timer as described in the next section.
