Gamma Brightness Compen-
sation
Available modes: TAPE-CAMERA, DUAL-
CAMERA, CARD-CAMERA
When the subject is backlit or when recording
in a dark or poorly illuminated location, the
image will appear dark if it is recorded
normally. The gamma brightness compensation
function improves the picture by increasing the
brightness of the image.
Recording a backlit subject
Press GAMMA once.
• "GAMMA" turns yellow; indicating that Gamma
Brightness Compensation is now working.

Recording in a poorly illuminated
location
At locations where lighting is insufficient,
"LIGHT" is displayed on the screen.
Press GAMMA once.
• "GAMMA" turns yellow, indicating that the gain-
up function is now working.
