Recording on a Cassette Tape

Before recording:
G When recording important selections, make
a preliminary test to ensure that the desired
material is properly recorded.
G SHARP is not liable for damage or loss of
your recording arising from malfunction of
this unit.
STAND-BY
I Recording from the radio

Set the FUNCTION switch to RADIO.

Set the BAND SELECTOR switch to FM,
MW, SW1 or SW2.

Tune in to the station to be recorded.

Load a blank cassette into the cassette
compartment with the side to be record-
ed on facing you.

Press the PAUSE 6 6 6 6 6 button.

Press the RECORD G button.

Press the PAUSE 6 6 6 6 6 button again to be-
gin recording.
To stop recording:
Press the STOP/EJECT I 7 button.

circuit automatically controls the level of the
input signal used for recording.
G The VOLUME control may be adjusted with
no effect on the recorded signal. (Variable
Sound Monitor)
G Metal and CrO
recording.

Set the FUNCTION switch to TAPE.

Load a cassette into the cassette com-
partment.

Press the PAUSE 6 6 6 6 6 button.

Press the RECORD G button.

Press the PAUSE 6 6 6 6 6 button again to be-
gin recording.

G Monitoring of the recording is not possible.
