For the remote to function it must be turned ON. However when the remote is OFF, the
LCD continues to display the current day, time and room temperature.
Switching the Remote ON & OFF
The On/Off button is used to switch the Remote ON or OFF.
If the Remote is switched OFF, pressing and releasing the On/Off button will switch ON
the Remote. When the unit is turned on, the flame height is set to Hi for 20 seconds by
default. After 20 seconds, the flame will revert to the setting prior to being turned off.
Setting Time & Day
Note: The remote control needs to be "ON" in order to set the Time & Day.
Time
Press and hold the "TIME" button for 2 seconds and then use the "+" button to set
the hour and use the "-" button to set the minute.
Day
Immediately after setting the time, press the "TIME" button again and use the "+"
or "-" button to set the day.
Press the "TIME" button once more to record the setting.
