Internal memory and "Memory

Notes on recording/playback

• This can;era is neither dust-proof, nor Slflash-
i?roof, nor water-proof. Read "Prccauflons"
(page 36) bef)re operating the camera.
• Be careflll not to get tile canlera wet. Water
entering the inside of the camera may cau_
nlalfunctions which ill some cases may not be
repairable.
• Do not aim lhe camera al tile sun or olher brigbl
light. It may cau_ file malflmcflon of your
canlera.
• Do nol u_ tile camera near a location lhat
generales strong radio waves or emits radiaflon,
Tile camera may not be able to record or play
back properly.
• Using tile canlera in sandy or dusty locations
nlay cause lllalfilncflons.
• If [noislurc condensation occurs, relnove il
beR_re using tile can;era (page 36).
• Do not shake or strike file camera. Ill addition to
malfunctions and an inability to record images,
this may render file recording medium unusable,
or cau_ hllage data brcakdowll, danlage or loss.
• Clean the flash surhtcc belore use. Tile heat of
flash emission may cause dirt on the flash
surlace 1o become discolored or to stick to lhe
flash surlace, resulting ill insullicient light
emission.
Notes on the LCD screen, the
LCD finder and the lens
• The LCD sclven and the LCD lhlder are
manuh,ctured using extrenlely high-precision
lechnology so o;er 99.995_ ol the pixels air
operational lor ell_ctix e use. Howe_ er, fllerc
nlay be some tiny black points and/or bright
points (white. red, blue or green in color) that
constantly appear on file LCD screen or the
LCD fnder. These points are normal in tile
tllanulncturing process and do not aflccl tile
recording in any way.
• When lhe battely level beconles low, lhe lens
nlight slop nloving. Insert a charged battery
pack and Illrn Oll the camera again,
• Do not hold tile camera by taking hold of the
LCD screen.
On image data compatibility
• This camera conlornls with DCF (Design lule
Ior Camera File system) universal standard
established by JEITA (Japan Electronics and
Inlornlaflon Technology Industries
Association).
• Playback of images recorded with your camera
on ofller equipment and playback of images
recorded or ediled with other equil)menl on your
